Theodora Kopecká

Theodora Kopecka began her studies at the Secondary Music School in Prague (Gymnazium a hudebni skola hl. m. Prahy) and at the Janáček Academy of Performing Arts in Brno in the class of Professor Vaclav Kunt. For the upcoming academic year, she is accepted as a scholar at the Royal College of Music in London to study with Katie Bedford. She has appeared as a soloist with the Prague Symphony Orchestra ‘FOK’, Brno philharmonic orchestra, Czech virtuosi, and PKF – Prague Philharmonia. Theodora is a laureate of the International flute competition in Bratislava (first prize), Pro Bohemia Ostrava (second prize), and Concertino Praga (Honorable mention, category chamber music). She has appeared in the chamber ensemble at the Festival Dvořák Prague – talent stage in recognition of their performance at the competition. She has participated in the masterclasses with Emmanuel Pahud, Julien Beaudiment, Felix Renggli, Stéphane Réty and Sophie Cherrier among others.
