Nikolina Hapač (Zagreb, February 11, 2000) is a fourth-year student at the Music Academy in Zagreb in the red class. prof. Karolina Šantl Zupan. Her music education began in the school year 2007/2008. by enrolling the flute in the class of prof. mentor Ivana Štrbac. Trough her education, she has won numerous awards at national and international competitions (Sonus op. 3, Woodwind & Brass, HDGPP, Davorin Jenko…) She received recognition and had a scholarship from the city of Zagreb and Samobor for exellence. As part of the 5th concert season and the Carl Jans seminar in 2017, she participated in a concert with the Zagreb Flute Ensemble in Zagreb. She was a member of the International Children’s Philharmonic Orchestra in 2016. She participated in the MA Symphony Orchestra with the MA Choir and Soloists in the projects W. A. Mozart: opera Cosi fan tutte, J. S. Bach: Passion for Mark and the biggest project in 2021 on the occasion of the 100 anniversary of the academy: Croatian opera by Igor Kuljerić: Animal Farm. In 2019, she participated in the project of the first Meeting of Flutists from the region. In 2020, she participated in and won first prize in the HDGPP regional competition and participated in the Papandopulo 2021 competition. In addition to all the above, she has participated in seminars of flute professors who teach at academies across Europe (Matej Zupan, Renata Penezić, Jan Ostry, Ilze Urbane, Ivica Gabrišova…). As a member of the Flute Ensemble of the Academy of Music, she participated in the concert tour in 2021 in Novi Sad, Belgrade and Vukovar. At the Music Academy in Zagreb, certain works on the subject of orchestral section are performed every year, and the orchestral flute solos are made for the exam in the main subject of the instrument. With all the experience of playing orchestral music and flute solos at the academy, a great passion and desire in this type of music was created in her.
