Brina Unuk

Slovinsko

Brina Unuk, born in 2002 in Maribor, Slovenia, was accepted to Conservatory for Music and Ballet Maribor in 2017. She studied under the guidance of Simona Vake, prof., until 2021. In 2019, she successfully completed the entrance exam for the flute preparatory course at the University for Music and Performing Arts Vienna in the class of Wally Hase, prof. In 2021 she has completed the entrance exam for bachelorstudies at MDW, where she is continuing her studies with Wally Hase, prof.
Some of her achievements include First Place at the Flautiada Competition-Slovakia in 2019, First Place at the Online Competition for Young Flutists (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Flöte) in 2020, Golden Award at the Slovenian National Music Competition Temsig in 2016 and 2019 and Laureate of the 1st Prize at the 10th International Internet Music Competition Beograd 2019.
In 2021, she performed with Franz Schmidt Kammerorkester at the music festival Musik am Ring in Vienna. Brina is also a recipient of the Werner Tripp Memorial Fund scholarship.
