Lucas began his Studies at the Guri Project in Bauru (Brazil) and then moved to São Paulo (Brazil), where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Flute Performance at the School of Communication and Arts of the University of São Paulo (ECA USP) and performed with the most important youth and professional groups in the country, playing as solo flute for 2 seasons with the São Paulo Youth Orchestra. He was also the winner of the „Outsanding Student“ prize at the 2016 Galway Flute Festival, winner of the 8th and 9th editions of the „Ernani de Almeida Machado“ Prize and winner of the first „Jean Nöel-Saghaard“ Competition. He is currently recipient of an international scolarshop from the „Cultura Artística“ Institute and is completing his Master in Performance at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) in the class of Professors Philippe Racine and Haika Lübcke (2021-2023).
