Johanna Kiening from Lenggries (Germany) is 23. years old and finished her Bachelor‘s degree in june 2022. From 2017 to 2019 she studied in Salzburg with Beatrice Rentsch and Bernhard Krabatsch, and from 2019 until 2022 she studied in Oslo in the class of Tom Ottar Andreassen, Trond Magne Brekka and Andrea Lieberknecht. Johanna played in the stage orchestra at the „Salzburger Festspiele“ in 2018 and 2019. Since december 2021 she is on the substitute list for the norwegian opera orchestra in Oslo.

In April 2022 Johanna participated in the norwegian wind orchestra competition with Christiania Blåseensemble and won the 2. prize. She attended in masterclasses with Henrik Wiese, Lior Eitan, and Samuel Coles. From 2015 until 2019 Johanna played in the bavarian youth orchestra and the vbw-festival orchestra.
